Price Tag

The TVS X is priced at Rs 2.50 lakh (ex-showroom), making it the most expensive electric scooter in the country. It doesn't qualify for the central government's FAME-II subsidy.

Charging Options

A 950-watt portable charger can be added for Rs 16,275, and buyers can opt for a 3 kW home charger at an additional cost.

Availability

Deliveries of the TVS X will commence in December across 15 cities, with bookings already open.

Platform and Frame

The TVS X is built on the 'born electric' Xleton platform, featuring an aluminum alloy frame that offers significantly increased stiffness compared to regular scooter frames.

The scooter has a telescopic fork at the front and an offset rear monoshock. It rides on 12-inch alloy wheels with 100/80- front and 110/80-section rear tires.

TVS highlights the scooter's performance capabilities, with acceleration from 0 to 40 kmph in 2.6 seconds, 0 to 60 kmph in 4.5 seconds, and a top speed of 105 kmph. It's powered by a permanent magnet mid-drive motor.

The TVS X boasts a 4.44 kWh battery pack with a usable capacity of 3.8 kWh, providing a range of up to 140 kilometers. Charging times vary with the type of charger used.
